Agile Results :
Day 3: Daily Outcomes – Use Three Stories to Drive your Day
We all have a (long) list of to-dos to conquer each day. So his suggestion is to add the 3 outcomes to the top.
The three outcomes is a way to focus and remind us what’s important for the day and guide us through the heap of to-dos to complete.
He also mentioned it’s important we are the ‘architect, author, director’ of our own life.
One story at a time and one day at a time…
Personal Notes
Maybe it’s just me, but I find it hard to do these stories.. even if they are one-liners seem a stretch for me…
JD’s 3 step process
Step 1: Identify 3 key outcomes – “I will continue to write my journey today.”
Step 2: Turn the outcome into one-liner stories, add an emotional connection – “Today, I will write an inspiring journey entry!”
Step 3: Connect the stories with my values – “Today, I write an inspiring journey entry for sharing!”
“Find the play in your day.”
I will continue to try the one-liner story outcomes, probably one of the weaker parts of my execution of Agile Results.
